MANSHU KOBUDO  満州古武道

Manshu Kobudo  満州古武道

(Manchu Traditional Martial Arts)

Here are 7 different "styles" that popularized during the 19th centry in Manshu Shi Na, I think they are worth to take some times to look into. It has to be clarified that what so called style is rather a conceptual name given to a group of martial arts that they closely share similar features than subjected to a specific school of discipline. However, these names, and even the orgins, the lineages or their founders were usually derived from fake history, tales or rumors.

Wing Chun, traditionally, is considered to be one of the Southern Styles Shorin Kempo, but here I would like to create an independent chapter. While Taikyoku and Kiko, Taikyoku is believed to be derived from Kiko, are putting into 2 separated chapters for the readers' convenience.

Shina-te is not a conventional style, it is a combination of techniques taken from different Shina martial arts (including the above mentioned styles) as an interest of my own.
